Homemade Suspension Trainer Workout

Today we have something a little different for you! We’re going to use a bed sheet and a doorway to create a homemade suspension trainer. Suspension training is an excellent way to exercise using only your bodyweight. Furthermore, suspension training allows you to readily adjust the difficulty depending on how close you stand to the point of suspension.

Below is a quick tutorial on how to create your set up and how to complete a row, bicep curl, and tricep extension using your new equipment!

WORKOUT: Bodyweight Exercise Pyramid, rest 1 minute between each set

10 rows

10 tricep extensions

10 curls

10 air squats

rest 1 minute

9 rows

9 tricep extensions

9 curls

9 air squats

rest 1 minute…

Complete each round by removing a rep from each exercise until you reach a final set of 1 rep per exercise. Congrats! You’ve done 55 reps of each exercise!

If this wasn’t difficult enough for you, you can always limb the pyramid back up by doing sets with ascending reps: 1 each, 2 each, 3 each, etc. until you’ve reached 110 reps each exercise!
