No IT newsletter during spring break; useful alternatives abound

The InfoTech Tuesday newsletter will not be published next week during spring break. Publication resumes Tuesday, March 24. If you have time during spring break, check out IT resources featured in previous issues (see below) and/or take time to learn that new software program or computer tool.

Learn a new software or IT tool. Check out these free resources available on campus for K-Staters:

  • The university computing labs have a variety of software programs, from ArcGIS and AutoCAD to the VLC Media Player and ZoomText (a visual accessibility tool).
  • IT resources in the Media Development Center let you:
    • check out camcorders, cameras, and laptops
    • create videos
    • scan and edit photos and images
    • produce CDs and DVDs
    • make audio recordings
    • create PowerPoint presentations
    • design webpages
