Phone outages on campus

By Ryan Swanson

A water pipe broke on campus about 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug 12. Water filled some tunnels resulting in sporadic phone outages in the southeast quadrant of the Manhattan campus.

Buildings experiencing phone outages include Fairchild Hall, Anderson Hall, Kedzie Hall, Calvin Hall, Nichols Hall, Thompson Hall, McCain Auditorium and the Beach Museum.

The Division of Facilities and network and telecommunications services are working together to restore services as soon as possible. Until work is completed, it is suggested that contact with affected offices be done via email.
