Mediasite, our video content provider, has been experiencing an issue this week with the K-State Online Canvas to Mediasite integration. As a result, many Mediasite users were receiving “500 – Internal server error” messages. We are pleased to announce that the sporadic issue has been fixed.
In addition to fixing the problem, redundancies have been put in place to try to prevent this from happening in the future.
Mediasite is a capture and distribution system that lets instructors create lecture and presentation videos. Students have the ability to watch this content on their computers or mobile devices. To learn more about the use of Mediasite at K-State, view the Mediasite website.
