Grad students: Get thesis, dissertation help at ETDR walk-in sessions Nov. 13-20

Graduate students who plan to meet the Nov. 20 semester deadline for submitting theses and dissertations can take advantage of the final four Electronic Theses, Dissertations, and Reports (ETDRs) help sessions this semester.

  • Fri, Nov. 13, 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 401B Hale Library
  • Tue, Nov. 17, 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 407 Hale Library
  • Thu, Nov. 19, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., 407 Hale Library
  • Fri, Nov. 20, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., 407 Hale Library

Walk-in help is available on these topics and more:

  • Reviewing ETDRs to help meet Graduate School requirements
  • Formatting and fixes on ETDRs
  • Converting to PDF from Microsoft Word and LaTeX
  • Submitting ETDRs to K-State’s K-REx system and to the ProQuest dissertation database

Windows computers are available in Hale 407. Mac users or those who want to use their own computers may bring them to the help sessions. Note that food and drink are not allowed in 407 Hale Library.

One-on-one ETDR meetings are available on request.  Use the ETDR Service Request form to provide details and specify desired meeting times (k-state.edu/grad/etdr/request sign-in requires a K-State eID/password). Requests are answered within 48 hours Monday-Friday.
