The creators of RapidMiner are offering free licenses to their software tool to all 
faculty and students at Kansas State University. Steve Farr (sfarr@rapidminer.com), Communities Director at RapidMiner, shared the following information.
1) Kansas State University students
Free Licenses for all RapidMiner products: Machine Learning without coding.
RapidMiner has expanded its Academic Licensing options to include free versions of RapidMiner Studio, Server and Radoop for all students. RapidMiner Studio offers over 700 data preparation functions and over 150 Machine Learning models as well as support for R and Python, all in a code-free graphical environment.
RapidMiner Server allows you to share and re-use predictive models and to operationalize the results of Studio processes you have built.
RapidMiner Radoop offers the ability to create, execute and operationalize analytics workflows on Hadoop Clusters. Again, entirely graphically.

2) Kansas State University Academic staff
Free Licenses for all RapidMiner products: Machine Learning without coding.
RapidMiner has expanded its Academic Licensing options to include free versions of RapidMiner Studio, Server and Radoop for educators teaching at academic or professional organizations.
RapidMiner Studio offers over 700 data preparation functions and over 150 Machine Learning models as well as support for R and Python, all in a code-free graphical environment.
RapidMiner Server allows you to share and re-use predictive models across groups of peers or student classes and to operationalize the results of Studio processes you have built. This allows for the rapid creation of ‘real-world’ examples where predictive analytics is surfaced to third party applications, web sites etc.
RapidMiner Radoop offers the ability to create, execute and operationalize analytics workflows on Hadoop Clusters. Again, entirely graphically. By pushing analytic instructions to Hadoop and Spark, RapidMiner offers a cost-effective and simple to implement method of having students working with these exciting technologies quickly.
