Master Extract Reporting in KSIS offered bi-weekly in Fall 2020

Master Extract Reporting in KSIS Training Fall 2020Training sessions for Master Extract Reporting in KSIS for fall 2020 are now available. The monthly sessions are only for staff who have been granted the Master Extract Reporting permission. The training schedule is set for one session each month.

You must have permissions set up for Master Extract Reporting in KSIS before you can take this class.

All sessions are scheduled as a Zoom virtual meeting.  Sessions will be held on:

  • Friday, Oct. 9, 10 – 11 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Nov. 2, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov 17, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Registration through HRIS is required. See Using HRIS to register for classes.

If the offered sessions do not fit your schedule, please contact the KSIS training coordinator, Fred Darkow, at fdarkow@k-state.edu to request additional classes. Attendees will be notified if a session is canceled and will be asked to register for an alternative training session.

IT Update

 

In July, sparks are flying to prepare for an earlier start to the school year. Some of the many projects either completed or in the works follow. 

Networking and Telecommunications Services (NTS) continues to improve the IT infrastructure. Projects include:

  • Collaborating with design teams for Hale Library, Snyder Family Stadium, the Multicultural Center and McCain Auditorium
  • Continuing renovation and wiring projects in Mosier, Derby, Weber, Leasure and Call Hall
  • Preparing for AV upgrades for Olathe and centrally supported classrooms
  • Planning for the WSU Nursing program in Justin
  • Working with Riley County Emergency Management to upgrade the campus 911 system
