IT Help Desk hours during Thanksgiving break

The IT Help Desk will have a modified schedule this week during the Thanksgiving holiday break. It will be closed from 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, until 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28. Normal hours resume 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29.

Holiday ideas for technology gifts

This year the top technology gift-giving ideas seem to be rather routine.  Items at the top of the lists are iPods (from Apple) including the iPhone and iPod touch; Wii exercise/entertainment systems (Nintendo); various digital cameras; TiVo systems for hands-off recording of TV shows for later viewing; and the Kindle electronic book reader (Amazon).
