Aug. 31: Getting Started with ETDR Templates

ETDR TrainingAre you a master’s or doctoral student? If so, it is likely that you will be conducting research as part of your studies. At some point, you may be writing a thesis, report, or dissertation to record your work to share with the profession and the world. K-State has created templates (in Microsoft Word and LaTeX) for students to use, in order to ensure that they include all required information in the proper formatting

“Getting Started with ETDR Templates” is an online training on Zoom from 1 – 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 31.

K-State Research Exchange unavailable Sept. 11 and Sept. 14

The K-State Research Exchange (K-REx) at krex.k-state.edu will be unavailable on the following dates to implement a new interface:

  • Tuesday Sept. 11 – K-REx will be down most of the day in order to implement the revised community/collection structure.
  • Friday, Sept. 14 – K-Rex will be down all day to switch over to the new interface.

Grad students: Don’t miss the ETDR Overview

The Graduate School and the Information Technology Assistance Center are offering a one-hour overview of the electronic theses, dissertations, and reports program (ETDR). The sessions will be on these dates:

  • Friday, Sept. 21, 2-3 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 1, 11 a.m.-noon
