A blog post from Rome by my great friend, Grant, who is finishing his Fall semester there. I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I have.

Seeing a different way of life has changed me. Right now, I am in the final legs of studying abroad in the beautiful country of Italy. I have been here since August, and although I arrived just three and a half months ago, I have changed more in the last three and a half months than I ever have before. I have seen how other cultures live. I have seen how people live in Ireland, England, and of course Italy. I see how the world views us Americans. Getting Your Money’s Worth: Part I

As a Finance major, a good chunk of my college education revolves around the concept of minimizing cost and maximizing profit -or in other words, getting your money’s worth. So this is a concept I think about quite often, and a lot of times it finds its way into my personal life as well. If you’ve watched K-State football in recent years, you’ll recognize this name. Travis Britz, one of the top defensive tackles in the Big 12 during his time on the K-State football team (2012-2015) and voted a team captain during his senior year, is undoubtedly a great player; but what’s more, he’s a great person as well.
