可避免的一般写作错误
- 1 在正式书面形式中避免第一人称(I, me, my, we, us, our)。
2在正式书面形式中避免第二人称(you, your, yours, yourself)。
3在正式书面形式中避免缩约词。不要写成don’t，而要写成do not，等等。
4 句号和逗号要写在引用符号里面，而不是外面。
5使用主动语气而不是被动语气:
a 被动语气句子: The paper was written by him.
b主动语气句子: He wrote the paper.
6 当写文章时动词时态要保持一直;不要在现在时和过去时之间换来换去。
7 it’s=it is(缩约词);its=所有格-某些东西属于它。
A It’s really hot outside. (It is really hot outside).
B Every class has its own personality .(这是所有格，即使没有撇号)。
8 正确使用分号。正确使用分号仅有两种方式:
连接两个有紧密联系的完整句子。例如: The right to vote in local and national elections is something that many people in the world do not have; for this reason, many people believe that anyone who is eligible to vote has a responsibility to do so.
B. 当一个系列中的项目由从句组成，而逗号已是这从句的一部分时，用来分隔该系列的项目:例如: with a pen or pencil, which is inexpensive and easily accessible; or by computer and printer, which is more expensive but quick and neat.
