In June, the Union Computer Store quietly launched an online store in time for New Student Orientation. The new shopping experience is also linked from the store’s homepage at www.k-state.edu/computerstore.
The online store contains a limited selection of the most purchased products, and it has proven to be popular. Online orders were placed on the first day of the site going live, and orders continue to roll in daily with K-State Back to School in full swing.
Customers in the online store have a choice of in-store pickup or shipping of purchased items. As is typical with online stores, order acknowledgement, fulfillment, and shipping notification are provided via e-mail.
