Axio Learning (K-State Online) conference Sept. 24-25

Are you planning on attending the FREE Axio Learning (K-State Online) Conference? Scheduled Thursday, Sept. 24, and Friday, Sept. 25, in the K-State Alumni Center, this two-day conference for faculty, staff and administrators is packed with information about Axio Learning (K-State Online), distance learning pedagogy, and other great topics.

If you can’t attend the whole conference, feel free to attend only the sessions that interest you and that you have time for. Pre-registration isn’t necessary, but recommended. To register and to view the conference schedule, see www.axioconference.org.

In partnership with the Provost’s Lecture Series, the Axio Conference will feature Mark David Milliron as the keynote speaker. Milliron is an award-winning leader, author, speaker, and consultant. His presentation, “A New Generation of Learning: Diverse Students, Emerging Technologies, and a Sustainability Challenge”, will focus on the future of teaching and how the new generation of learning is taking shape. Milliron’s keynote presentation 10:30 a.m.-noon Friday, Sept. 25, will close the conference.
