Looking to add a little technology to your library skills? Faculty and graduate students are invited to attend Library Day Thursday, Feb. 18, in Hale Library. Classes cover topics such as:
- Customizing your laptop to get the most out of your library experience
- Using databases such as ARTstor, Naxos Music Library, and LexisNexis Congressional to enhance your teaching and scholarship
- Using RefWorks to manage all your bibliographies online
Library Day is set up much like a conference, with concurrent sessions running from 9:30-4:30. You can drop by for just one class, or sign up for them all and make a day of it. Advance registration is preferred, but there is no charge for taking any of the courses.
Questions about Library Day? Contact Sara K. Kearns, instruction coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 785-532-7446.
