Carlin returns to position as special assistant to provost

Last week, Lynn Carlin stepped down from serving as Interim Vice Provost for Information Technology Services (ITS), a position she has held since July 2007. Under Carlin’s watch, ITS:

  • Completed assessments of K-State information technology services and the network
  • Updated the ITS website
  • Realigned the units and combined Academic Services and Technology with the Office of Information Systems
  • Updated IT security policies
  • Deployed the Zimbra Collaboration Suite (e-mail and calendar)

and more. ITS staff wish Carlin all the best in her role as special assistant to Provost Mason.
