Mediasite demo rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20

by Information Technology Services

Due to the winter storm and campus closure, the Mediasite demonstration has been rescheduled for 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Big 12 Room at the K-State Student Union.

Are you looking for a new way to interact with your students? Would you like to:

  • Improve learning outcomes
  • Provide added value for in-person class attendance
  • Increase retention of course materials

You can do all those things and more by adding video to your courses. With video lecture capture, instructors can make face-to-face class time more appealing to students, and out-of-class learning more productive.

With Mediasite, lectures can be recorded in a worry-free digital format that students can then watch over the Web, on a computer or their mobile device. Lecture-capture technology records the instructor’s audio and video, as well as any visual aids coming from a laptop, tablet, whiteboard, or document camera.

To learn more about recording your lectures with Mediasite, contact Artur Gregorian, OME electronic media coordinator, at 785-532-2483.
