Graduate students, need help? April 25 deadline to submit theses, dissertations, and reports

Graduate students who plan to graduate this semester must submit their electronic theses, dissertations, or reports (ETDRs) to the K-State Research Exchange (K-REx) repository by 5 p.m. Friday, April 25. The Graduation Deadlines document (PDF) contains more requirements and details from the Graduate School.

Students who need help formatting their theses and dissertations can schedule to meet with ETDR consultants Betsy Edwards and Jahvelle Rhone.  Contact the IT Help Desk at 785-532-7722, toll-free 800-865-6143, helpdesk@k-state.edu and ask for a consult.

Visit the ETDR website to access many Word resources and step-by-step solutions. The site covers Word versions from 2003-2013 for Windows and Macs.

One of the most in-demand sections is “Using Word to write your ETDR”.  Select the Word version you’re using and tap into resources to learn how to:

  • Troubleshoot a variety of common Word problems (page numbering; copy/pasting content; figure/table captions; Table of Contents; and more)
  • Use, modify, and create Word styles (for super timesaving)
  • Convert to PDF
  • and more
