“Driving Change–Steering into the Future of Ed Tech” SIDLIT Conference July 30 – 31

Colleague 2 Colleague, a non-profit regional professional organization, is hosting the 16th annual Summer Institute on Distance Learning and Instructional Technology (SIDLIT) Thurs. and Fri., July 30 – 31, 2015, at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas.

Keynote on Next-Gen LMSes

DrAliJafari

Dr. Ali Jafari, Professor of Engineering and Technology and Director of CyberLab at Indiana University, will be the 2015 keynote speaker.  He will be speaking on “Next Generation of Learning Management Systems: Social, Global, and Engaging”.

Presentation Proposals

SIDLIT presentation proposals are being accepted through May 1.  The schedule of presentations will be released in May.

C2C has a community digital magazine hosted on the Scalar platform.  The prior Fall/Winter 2014 issue is available here.  The Spring/Summer 2015 C2C Digital Magazine is forthcoming in June 2015.  (Anyone interested in contributing may email shalin@k-state.edu and ragou@k-state.edu).

Conference Registration

Conference registration is open.  The cost is $50 for the two days.  Early-bird costs (through May 15) are $40.  The discounted student cost is $40 for students (and early bird at $30).  The registration fee includes breakfasts, lunches, and snacks.  For questions, please email info@c2conline.org.

K-State has members serving on the C2C Steering Committee and some who will be hosting presentations.
