K-State Online: Spring 2016 courses are ready for instructors to use

Spring 2016by Information Technology Services

The Spring 2016 course shells (with the exception of 800-900 level courses) have been created in K-State Online Canvas. Instructors now have the ability to make changes to their courses to prepare for spring.

If instructors want to delete any of the automatically created courses or want to create an 800-900 level course, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.

Course shells for Spring 2016 will not be created in K-State Online Classic because Classic will be retired on Dec. 31, 2015. To learn more about the Automatic Course Creation process and timelines, view the Automatic Course Creation page on the Canvas website.

Remember, all K-State courses need to be upgraded to K-State Online Canvas by Dec. 31. K-State Online Classic will be retired and available in a read-only state, which means you will no longer be able to teach courses with Classic. To learn more about Canvas training opportunities, view the training page on the K-State Online Canvas website.
