Inbox change in K-State Online

by Information Technology Services

In K-State Online, instructors communicate to students via the Inbox. Based on instructor feedback, Information Technology Services has made an improvement to the Inbox for K-State.

Previously if you were sending your message to multiple users, but did not want each user to see who else was included in the message, you would click the Send an individual message to each recipient checkbox.

But if you forgot to check the box, and your recipient used “reply all”, then a personal one-on-one communication would be seen by all recipients. To resolve this issue, the Send an individual message to each recipient checkbox will now be checked by default, so emails will be sent to each individual. Instructors will still have the option to uncheck the box.
