According to the “2019 Common Sense Census: Media Use by Tweens and Teens” more than half of U.S. children now own a smartphone by the age of 11. And on average, teenagers spend 7 hours, 22 minutes per day with screen media, not counting schoolwork or homework. Do you know what your kids are doing online? Do you know what apps they are using and the potential risks of using those apps?
Join the “Apps Parents Should Know About in 2020” presentation from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 to learn more about social media that our children are using and the pros and cons of these applications.
