KSIS Class Scheduler training rescheduled for April 14

KSIS Class Scheduler training, 10:30, April 12, 9 FairchildKSIS Class Scheduler training that was cancelled in March is rescheduled for 10:30 a.m. – noon, April 14 in 9 Fairchild.  This session is designed for employees new to the Class Scheduler process.

Topics include:

  • Printing the Class Schedule report
  • Updating room locations
  • Updating instructors
  • Updating the section status
  • Other course related details

Registration through HRIS is required. See Using HRIS to register for classes. If the current dates and times do not match your schedule, contact Fred Darkow at 532-3138 or fdarkow@ksu.edu for more options.

Class Scheduler Refresher training now available

Training classes for administrators with the Class Scheduler permission are now available for the spring 2015 term. These classes are designed for those who have performed the Class Scheduler function previously and is not recommended for those new to the process. Training sessions discuss steps used by class schedulers and also use a discussion format to gain knowledge from the experience of other class schedulers.

iSIS class schedule training March 13-14

iSIS training is now available for administrators with the class scheduler permission. Two types of classes are being offered depending on experience with class scheduling. Training personnel include registrar employees involved with the scheduler updates. Discussion topics include:

  • Printing out the class schedule
  • New codes for Olathe classes
  • Room scheduling
  • Class capacity issues
  • Editing class information

All sessions are held in Hale 407:

  • New Class Scheduler, 10:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday, March 13
  • Class Scheduler Refresher, 10:30 a.m.-noon Thursday, March 14
