HRIS and KSIS monthly maintenance scheduled for June 14

HRIS, KSIS, and DARS will be unavailable from midnight – 4 a.m., Sunday, June 14. Information Technology Services will perform scheduled monthly maintenance on the systems. The maintenance will keep our systems up-to-date and secure. Once applied, the systems will be brought back up for your use. Thank you to campus for your patience as we work to maintain our IT systems.

Updated: HRIS and KSIS monthly maintenance scheduled for May 10

Information Technology Services will perform scheduled monthly maintenance on the HRIS and KSIS systems this weekend. The maintenance timeline has changed and will now be from midnight to 3 a.m., Sunday, May 10. The maintenance will keep our systems up-to-date and secure. Both HRIS and KSIS will not be accessible during the maintenance. Once applied, both systems will be brought back up for your use. Thank you to campus for your patience as we work to maintain our IT systems.

HRIS and KSIS monthly maintenance scheduled April 11-12

Information Technology Services will perform scheduled monthly maintenance on the HRIS and KSIS systems from 10 p.m., Saturday, April 11, through 6 a.m., Sunday, April 12. The maintenance will keep our systems up-to-date and secure. Both HRIS and KSIS will not be accessible during the maintenance. Once applied, both systems will be brought back up for your use. Thank you to campus for your patience as we work to maintain our IT systems.

HRIS and KSIS monthly maintenance scheduled March 14-15

Information Technology Services will perform scheduled monthly maintenance on the HRIS and KSIS systems from 10 p.m., Sat., Mar. 14, through noon, Sun., Mar. 15. K-State is also upgrading the HRIS and KSIS databases to Oracle 18c, so the maintenance window is longer this month. The maintenance will keep our systems up-to-date and secure.

Once the maintenance is complete, both systems will be brought back up for your use. Thank you to campus for your patience as we work to maintain our IT systems.

Copy final grades to KSIS process has been updated

Instructors can copy their final grades from Canvas to KSIS with the Copy Grades to KSIS tool located in the left-hand navigation of each course in Canvas.

The Copy Grades to KSIS process has been updated to remove the ‘Muted’ assignments step. Canvas is changing the assignment management policy. Muting will be replaced by Grade Post Policies. Continue reading “Copy final grades to KSIS process has been updated”

Instructors can copy their final grades from Canvas to KSIS with the Copy Grades to KSIS tool located in the left-hand navigation of each course in Canvas. Grades for the fall 2018 term are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, for term courses with final exams given Monday-Friday, Dec. 10–14. KSIS Training sessions for Fall 2018 available

KSIS training dates and times are now available for fall 2018.  Instructor-led training is available for faculty, academic advisors, and staff at no charge. However, registration through HRIS is required. See Using HRIS to register for classes.

Training for staff and faculty include the following topics:

  • Master Extract Reporting
  • Processing Minors in KSIS
