The KSIS upgrade project began last fall, and the target date to complete the KSIS upgrade isMonday, July 24. KSIS will be unavailable during the upgrade window from 5 p.m. Friday, July 21, through Sunday, July 23.
To prepare for the upgrade, KSIS users can do the following:
Complete transactions and sign out of KSIS by 5 p.m., Friday, July 21
After the upgrade, KSIS will have a new graphical, responsive web design and mobile-friendly features for iOS and Android devices. The upgrade represents K-State’s ongoing investment to provide the K-State community with the most complete, flexible, and innovative student information system available.

The KSIS upgrade project team is currently working with various focus groups to conduct pre-release testing and prepare for the go-live date Monday, July 24.
KSIS will be unavailable during the upgrade window from Friday evening, July 21, through Sunday, July 23.
Once the upgrade is complete, KSIS will have a new mobile-friendly navigation. The new NavBar navigation will allow you to access: Recent Places, My Favorites, Navigator (all your folders), and Classic Home. Users will be able to add both Fluid (new) and Classic (old) pages to My Favorites in the NavBar.
KSIS users are encouraged to prepare for the upgrade by doing these:
A “Processing Minors” training session is now available for K-State employees who approve minors for students who are graduating. The training session is 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, in 306 Calvin Hall.
KSIS Class Scheduler training is now available. Sessions are designed for employees new to the Class Scheduler process as well as refreshers for employees who have previously updated class schedules.

1:30-3 p.m., Tuesday, March 7

Training sessions for Master Extract Reporting in KSIS for Spring 2017 are now available. The monthly sessions are for staff who have been granted the Master Extract Reporting permission. Previous sessions were limited to one month of a term. To make the training more available for staff members, the schedule is now set for one session each month.
You must have permissions set up for Master Extract Reporting in KSIS before you can take this class.
If the offered sessions do not fit your schedule, please contact the KSIS training coordinator, Fred Darkow, at firstname.lastname@example.org to request additional classes. Attendees will be notified if a session is canceled and will be asked to register for an alternative training session.
KSIS training dates and times are now available for spring 2017. Instructor-led training is available for faculty, academic advisors, and staff at no charge. However, registration through HRIS is required. See Using HRIS to register for classes.
