Faculty, staff, and graduate students at K-State have a site license for NVivo, a data analysis tool used with qualitative and mixed methods research. This license gives them free access to this multi-modal data management and analysis tool. Four customized and interactive webinars have been scheduled for Fall Semester 2013.
Working on ethnographic field data? Just finished conducting a large-scale online survey? Exploring grounded theory? Engaged in action research? Portraiture?
Analyzing data and information from a range of digital data types? Conducting a qualitative meta-analysis?
Working on a qualitative or mixed methods thesis, dissertation, or manuscript?
K-Staters conducting qualitative and mixed methods research and engaging in data analytics now have another software tool to enhance their work.
Researchers, faculty, and graduate students are invited to a complimentary presentation on “Using NVivo as a Research Tool” 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18 (CST). This tool enables qualitative and mixed-methods research. The presenter, Stacy Penna, is the business development manager at QSR International (Americas) Inc., who wrote her dissertation using NVivo.
