The Staley School of Leadership Studies invites students, staff and faculty to the What Matters to Me and Why leadership lecture featuring Corey Williamson, executive director, K-State Student Union. The lecture will take place noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in the Leadership Studies Building Town Hall and on Zoom. Lunch from Mr. Goodcents will be provided.
The lecture will feature stories about the Williamson’s journey – how he has chosen to live his life, the core values he has adopted, the personal choices he made and lessons he has learned.
As a Manhattan, Kansas, native and Kansas State University alumnus, Williamson will share his journey to becoming a campus community builder at K-State. He will discuss the foundations of fostering belonging and creating community well-being that leads to shared success within any organization or team.
RSVP by Monday, April 25. A Zoom link is also available.
This informal lunchtime series supports K-State’s Principles of Community by encouraging reflection on matters of personal values, beliefs and motivations to better understand the lives and inspirations of those who serve and shape the university.
Our series is sponsored by the Staley School of Leadership Studies, and supported by a cross-campus planning committee.
