I am a presidential scholar at Seward participating in the Bridge Program, I am also an Admission Ambassador and will be a RA.
How did you get interested in STEM?
I always have this plan of helping others one way or another; even if I only impacted one person. So I figured a field in medical science would be the best option for me, because of what I can accomplish and learn.
Why did you want to do research?
I want to participate in this program because I want to gain more experience and knowledge, and a better idea of what research in an actual lab entails.
What advice would you give to your past self regarding school? Or what advice would you give to other students interested in STEM?
DON’T procrastinate!!! Also don’t take on too many responsibilities and make time for fun.
