The Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art, with a collecting focus of Kansas and regional art, is home to the largest collections of John Stuart Curry works. In Kansas, Curry is known for his mural is the state capital, but many of Curry’s works depict rural Kansas life.
Recently, a museum staffer Robin Lonborg shared this view of her front yard. We all agreed, it’s pretty obvious where Curry drew inspiration for at least some of his work.
