The Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) recently unveiled new research that showed the Kansas Beats the Virus initiative – a public health partnership with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment – improved public health outcomes and civic capacity across Kansas communities.
The report, released from KLC’s research team with Kansas State University’s Staley School of Leadership Studies, evaluates how the second phase of the initiative in 2021 helped communities create local strategies to increase testing and vaccination rates.
The result: 1,162 Kansans served as conveners and partners to implement 1,010 unique action projects across the state. Read the full story and download the report here.
