“Art for Every Home: Associated American Artists” is an overview of the New York-based business best known as the publisher of prints by Regionalist artists Thomas Hart Benton, John Steuart Curry, and Grant Wood. Associated American Artists developed innovative strategies to stimulate interest in collecting art among middle-class Americans. Beginning in the mid-1930s and for more than six decades, the company sold prints, paintings, ceramics, and textiles via mail-order catalogues, department stores, and its galleries. A 288-page catalogue is distributed by Yale University Press. For more information about the publication, seebeach.k-state.edu/support/shop/publications.html.
