K-State TV programming originates from the Educational Communications Center (ECC) and features subjects of interest to the university and surrounding communities. Programs are available 24/7 on Channel 8 through Cox and Wildcat cable in Manhattan, Junction City, and on campus.
- Join the K-State TV LISTSERV mailing list. Send a message to listserv@listserv.ksu.edu with “sub k-statetv” (without the quotes) in the body of the message to subscribe. You will receive special announcements, weekly program schedules, and invitations to attend live tapings.
- Inauguration of President Kirk Schulz. The ceremony airs live at 2 p.m. Sept. 24 from Bramlage Coliseum. Also watch for Schulz’s quarterly Presidential Forums that will air on K-State TV.
- Wildcat Watch returns in October. This weekly program for busy K-State students includes a calendar of events, brief interviews, updates on subjects of interest, and university hot topics. Watch last year’s programs on YouTube.
- Riley TV is a new featured offering. Riley TV, a current events program produced by Fort Riley, now airs regularly at 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10 p.m. Wednesdays. The availability of this program supports the university’s mission of collaboration with the Big Red One.
- Diverse program offerings for fall. K-State TV will continue to provide something for everyone through exceptional acquired program offerings from PEG Media, Annenberg TV, Classic Arts Showcase, and the Research Channel. Samplings of programs viewers will enjoy are The Piano Guy, Saturday Fright Special, Deutsche Welle Arts 21 and Global 3000, Disc Golf Live.
- Lectures, reviews, and original programming. K-State TV will air the majority of the university’s premier lectures series such as the Landon Lectures, and also broadcast Chemistry Review Sessions. Viewers will also enjoy original programs and specials produced for K-State TV by the ECC.
