The Information Technology Assistance Center at Kansas State University is seeking the best individual to fill the position of Computer Information Specialist. The individual in this position will work with a team of full-time staff and students on technology classroom design, installation, maintenance, and repair during the evening hours of 1-10 p.m.
Equipment expertise required includes PCs, Apple computers, VCRs, DVD players, visual presenters, LCD and/or DLP projectors, audio amplifiers and mixers, various audio and video switching devices, and electronic control systems. Detailed knowledge of both PC and Apple operating systems and diverse software packages will be needed.
This position will assist in the development, testing and deployment of computer images for technology classrooms and university computing labs.
