Paulicia Bender will present What Matters to Me and Why

The Staley School of Leadership invites students, staff and faculty to the What Matters to Me and Why leadership lecture featuring Paulicia Bender, student services coordinator for TRIO Educational Support Services at the K-State Office of Student Success. The lecture will take place noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, in the Leadership Studies Building Town Hall and on Zoom. Lunch from Mr. Goodcents will be provided.

Paulicia Bender photoPaulicia Bender is a K-State alumnae who has lived in Manhattan, Kansas, for more than 30 years, and is the proud mom of four unique beings. In her spare time, she enjoys art, reading and horror films. Paulicia will share her personal journey from high school dropout to college graduate, and the lessons she’s learned along the way to self-acceptance.

This informal lunchtime series supports K-State’s Principles of Community by encouraging reflection on matters of personal values, beliefs and motivations to better understand the lives and inspirations of those who serve and shape the university.
