Kansas State University is brimming with remarkable individuals, each possessing a set of strengths waiting to be unveiled and shared with the world. So, why not let your strengths shine?

Have you ever used your innate abilities to elevate your own well-being or uplift those around you? Whether you’ve achieved personal growth or sparked positive change in your community, your story matters. We invite you to share it with us through various mediums:

1. Written narratives: Craft a captivating narrative that highlights your strengths in action. Words have the power to inspire and connect, and your story can be a guiding light for others.

2. Artistic expression: Let your creativity flow through art! Draw, paint, sculpt – whatever your chosen medium, use it to express your strengths in a visually compelling way. Art transcends language and can communicate emotions and ideas that words alone sometimes cannot.

3. Multimedia magic: Embrace the magic of multimedia! Create videos, podcasts, or any other format that can vividly showcase your Strengths story. Sometimes, a visual or auditory experience can leave a lasting impact.

Are you in your first year at K-State? Join us for a K-State tradition – Wildcat Dialogues.

Mark your calendars for 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8! Wildcat Dialogues is an intercultural learning and leadership event designed for all first-year K-State students. This evening provides an opportunity for meaningful dialogue and building connections, as we work to create a community of belonging for all.

During Wildcat Dialogues, you will:

• Learn how to create communities of belonging
• Build cross-cultural relationships through meaningful dialogue
• Engage in active listening, empathy and perspective-taking
• Build a skillset to understand cultural differences and similarities

Wildcat Dialogues is one of K-State’s signature intercultural learning events for all new students. During this event, we will gather together with hundreds of other students in the K-State Student Union ballroom to hear first from some of your fellow students about their identities and how those have shaped their experiences here and beyond K-State. Afterwards, you will break out into smaller groups of 8-10 students, and be led through a conversation by a trained facilitator to share your own story.
