No IT newsletter Dec. 23-30; skim archives during holiday break

This is the last issue of K-State’s InfoTech Tuesday in 2008. The newsletter will not be published Dec. 23 and Dec. 30 during the holiday break. Publication will resume with the Jan. 6, 2009, issue. Articles for that issue should be submitted by noon Monday, Jan. 5, via one of these input channels:

Readers may find the winter break is a good time to peruse the IT newsletter archives and see what they may have missed during the semester.  Jan. 2-Aug. 19 articles are stored in the old newsletter archive on K-State’s central website. August-December articles are in the current newsletter archive on a departmental server in blog format, which provides several ways to easily search articles:

  • by topic keyword (try typing “Zimbra” or “iPhone” in the newsletter’s Search box above)
  • by subject category (for example, “IT News” or “IT Security” in the left sidebar)
  • via tag-cloud entries in the left sidebar
