Open forums start today for K-State presidential candidates

The first of three finalists for the presidency of Kansas State University will give an open forum presentation at 3:30 p.m. today, Jan. 15, in Forum Hall of the K-State Student Union. The presentation by Kirk H. Schulz, vice president for research and economic development at Mississippi State, will be followed by a question-and-answer session and a meet-and-greet opportunity. All K-Staters and the general public are invited to attend. Schulz’s presentation will also be available via live webcast and on K-State TV Wildcat Cable (channel 8).

The presentation will also air live on the K-State Salina campus (Media Studio conference room) via interactive Polycom provided by the Educational Communications Center. All presentations will re-air on K-State TV and will be available via archive at their webcast page.

Open forums for the other two finalists are scheduled Thursday, Jan. 22, and Monday, Jan. 26. Questions can be referred to Fred Fairchild, chair of the Campus Visit Committee for the Presidential Search Committee, fjf@k-state.edu.
