About Microsoft Visio Pro
Microsoft Visio Pro is a common diagramming tool that enables the creation of vector graphics.
Some common examples include the following:
- flowcharts to describe work or research processes
- basic diagrams
- BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) diagrams (with built-in validation based on rule sets)
- database systems
- floor plans
- network designs
- data-created visuals (with uploaded Excel spreadsheets used in Visio templates from MS Visio Online and / or the Excel back stage)
- automapping of websites to three levels
- And more
The visuals may be created manually and / or with data and / or through autocoding.
This tool contains a variety of templates for various applications: network, software, flowcharts, education, business, database, floor plans, and others. Users may access collections of stencils, shapes, line tools, design themes, and layout grids.
There are higher level functions in the Developer tabs, database integrations, auto-layout features, auto-mapping networks, and macro capabilities.
This session addresses how to get started with Visio Pro to communicate visually and with precision.
