K-State Bulletin Board TV (Channel 10 on campus) ends Dec. 9

The K-State Bulletin Board TV channel, operated by the Division of Communications and Marketing, will be discontinued Dec. 9. Cox Communications and Wildcat Cable have opted to run other types of programming on this channel, which is Channel 21 off-campus and Channel 10 on campus.

To continue to provide an outlet for publicizing events, a daily calendar will run on K-State TV cable Channel 8 and off-antenna Channel 21 beginning in the spring. These channels reach on- and off-campus audiences.

K-State TV returns

K-State TV logoK-State TV is back this fall with Wildcat Watch and other university-related programming.

This year Wildcat Watch will have a new look and format. Instead of short weekly segments, a 30-minute show will be produced each month. Programs will feature subjects of interest to the campus community, and the weekly events calendar will be available online.

Other programming will include Cinemaniacs, ThinkTalk, 30 Odd Minutes, and Juke Joint.

Dancing on K-State TV begins April 2

No Kate, Pam, or Jake, but you can watch our own K-State celebs as they break out their best moves to win the mirror-ball trophy on the UPC’s “Dancing with the K-State Stars”. The contest takes place on March 30 at McCain Auditorium, and K-State TV’s Wildcat Watch crew will be there to record all the fun. You can see the event on K-State TV in its entirety beginning 8 p.m. April 2 and throughout the following week during the regular Wildcat Watch timeslot. Check the K-State TV website (www.k-state.tv) for dates and times.

K-State TV: Noe vs. College Pro; K-State Idol

Tune into Wildcat Watch this week to see host Whitney Noe face off against K-State golfer Joseph Ida in a wild game of ping-pong in the first episode of Noe vs. College Pro. Each week, Whitney will test her skills against a K-State athlete. Wildcat Watch airs on K-State TV (Cox and Wildcat Cable Channel 8, and UHF Channel 21).

Catch “the Watch”:

  • Sundays at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at noon and 8 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m.

Valentine topics, guitar performance on Wildcat Watch show

Wildcat Watch is back for another semester of the show that features campus events and activities at K-State. Segments on this week’s program include:

  • Student views on Valentine’s Day
  • Street Chase: Valentines Edition
  • Acoustic guitar performance by K-State student Laura Wetzel

Catch the program on K-State TV cable channel 8 at noon and 8 p.m. Monday/Wednesday/Friday, and 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday. A new show premieres 7 p.m. each Sunday. If you are not a cable subscriber, see Wildcat Watch and other K-State TV programs on the Web at www.k-state.tv.
