Introducing-Kristin Penner, District Director and Family Resource Management Agent Kristin was a graduate from Sublette High School and then went on to Kansas State University receiving her degree in Family Life and Community Services in 2002.
She then returned to Southwest Kansas working for Saint Francis Academy as a Foster Care worker for 5 years. Kristin started her Extension career in 2007 in Haskell County as the Family Consumer Science and 4-H Agent. She really enjoys getting to work in her home community serving the residents of Sublette and Satanta.
Kristin and her husband have three boys and in their spare time they love to go to the mountains, K-State Football games, and spend time as a family.
She is excited to get to provide leadership to the whole District through being the District Director as well as some programing responsibilities. In the next year some new programs Kristin will be presenting are Farm Financial Skills for Kansas Women in Agriculture and Check Your Credit. Kristin will also be providing leadership in the 4-H Youth Development Program.
