Q/A: Cause of “more than one user” print error in labs/InfoCommons?

After I swipe my card to print on campus, a message pops up saying that my “User ID identifies more than one user on the pharos database”. It won’t let me print anything. What does this error mean, and how can I print?

That error occurs when your ISO number (which is the number associated with your Wildcat ID Card) is incorrectly programmed in the printing system for the K-State InfoCommons and university computing labs. This can happen in various ways — letting someone borrow your card to print, getting a replacement card, or several other reasons.
