On Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, K-State’s current Audix voicemail system will be replaced with a new system named Modular Messaging. One of the effects of this change is that the Message Manager software application — which allows K-Staters to receive, manage, and store voicemail on a PC — will no longer be supported.
According to Computing and Telecommunications Services, all K-State voicemail users will be required to set up their new accounts with a new password and personal greeting when the new voicemail system is implemented.
More details will be in the Jan. 5, 2010, issue of the InfoTech Tuesday newsletter. In the meantime:
- To learn how to set up your new voicemail prior to Jan. 8, see K-State’s Voicemail webpage.
- See the previous article in InfoTech Tuesday.
- To start using the new voicemail system as an early adopter, contact Adalee Brenner, adalee@k-state.edu, and provide your campus phone number.
