Faculty/staff: Computer store’s “grand relocation” event Sept. 28

Join the K-State Student Union Computer Store as we celebrate our relocation with Apple Account Executive Dan Senstock. Senstock will present sessions on Apple’s mobility strategy with the iPad and how it is beginning to change our higher education campuses. “The Future of Academics” Reception and iPad Demo sessions are scheduled 9:30-11 a.m. and 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, in Room 212 of the K-State Student Union.

These duplicate sessions are open to all faculty/staff at K-State. RSVP by noon Monday, Sept. 27, to 785-532-7202 or akagdis@k-state.eduEach session will include:

With numerous education applications as well as strategies for textbooks, research, and integration, the iPad is becoming a tremendous tool for 21st century learning.

Senstock is a long-time educator in both the K-12 and higher education space as well as a former technology director in a large school district. Currently, he works with higher education campuses in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri on Apple technology integration, curriculum, strategies, and professional development.
