Faculty/staff: Computer store’s “grand relocation” event Sept. 28

Join the K-State Student Union Computer Store as we celebrate our relocation with Apple Account Executive Dan Senstock. Senstock will present sessions on Apple’s mobility strategy with the iPad and how it is beginning to change our higher education campuses. “The Future of Academics” Reception and iPad Demo sessions are scheduled 9:30-11 a.m. and 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, in Room 212 of the K-State Student Union.

These duplicate sessions are open to all faculty/staff at K-State. RSVP by noon Monday, Sept. 27, to 785-532-7202 or akagdis@k-state.eduEach session will include:

Today (Sept. 7) is last day of back-to-school computer sales

Computer back-to-school offers at the K-State Student Union Computer Store end today (Tuesday, Sept. 7). K-State students, faculty/staff, and emeritus with valid K-State IDs can buy qualifying Mac and iPod products and receive an online rebate of up to $199.

Along with a full inventory featuring MacBooks, iPads, iPods, accessories, as well as a select line of Dell laptops, your Authorized Apple Campus store continues to offer education discounts on Student Select Microsoft and Adobe products. The software savings can be as much as 80 percent off of retail prices.

Union Computer Store moving downstairs Aug. 18

The K-State Student Union announces the relocation and expansion of the Union Computer Store to inside the Union Bookstore. The computer store, an Authorized Apple Campus Reseller, will have increased visibility with the new location effective Thursday, Aug. 19.

“We are extending our operating hours to match those of the Union Bookstore and will be able to service the campus more efficiently,” said Chris Loehr, computer store manager.
