Call for Presentation Proposals for SIDLIT 2016 Conference

Colleague 2 Colleague has put out a call for “transformational superheroes” working in SIDLIT call for proposalsSummer Institute on Distance Learning and Instructional Technology (or SIDLIT, pronounced “sidelight”) conference. The conference will be held Thursday and Friday, Aug. 4-5 at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Agents of Change—Transformational Superheroes.”  The keynote speaker is Richard Byrne (of FreeTech4Teachers.com).

Submit a presentation proposal by April 30.

The conference cost for the two days, including some meals and snacks, is $50. Registration is required and there is a $10 discount for early registration (by May 31). Students may register for even steeper discounts, with a $20 discount for early bird registration (and a $40 rate thereafter).  Registration closes on July 22, and there will be no walk-ins or registration after that date.
