QLess is removing lines from the student experience

QLess is an appointment scheduling and queue management software platform currently available at K-State. QLess allows students to avoid crowds and save time by joining virtual lines for campus services and eliminates the need to stand in line while streamlining processes and improving the overall experience.

The QLess app is available for iPhone or Android devices. With QLess, students can:

  • Join From Anywhere — Students join a line or schedule an appointment from wherever they are via mobile device, campus website, QLess app, onsite kiosk, or API — eliminating the need to wait in line for service.
  • Alerts & Communication — Students are sent automated alerts to let them know their place in line, estimated wait time, and when to arrive for their appointment — allowing them to wait where they want — in their dorm, at the library, or at a coffee shop.
  • Streamline Services — Students are served upon arrival and can return to their day with minimal disruption — keeping them happy and improving their experience.
  • Improve Operations — With greater visibility, no lines, and happier students, employees are more efficient and productive — creating smarter, more effective operations.
  • Collect Data Departments and divisions that use QLess have access to queue statistics, including busiest times, number of customers who do not actually show up, customer return rates, etc.

QLess is currently being used at K-State in Admissions, Office of the Registrar, and the Division of Student Finance. Visit K-State’s software licenses web page to learn more about using QLess in your department or division.
