Cybersecurity: protect your passwords

Did you know 123456 and 123456789 are the most common used passwords?

""

Hackers know this and can crack these passwords in less than a second. Hackers have a dictionary of common passwords. Don’t be a target.

Password Tips

  • Create a long passphrase – the more characters, numbers, and symbols your password has, the harder it is to crack
  • Use a different password for each of your accounts – this ensures if one of your accounts is compromised, it won’t result in all of your accounts being comprimised
  • Use two-factor authentication when available

Never share your password with anyone! If you have shared your password with someone or think your account has been compromised, change your password immediately.
