Use Adobe Creative Cloud to create a digital experience

All active K-State faculty and staff can access a free Adobe Creative Cloud license, including Acrobat Pro DC. The Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of over 20 applications and services that allows access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, mobile applications, and some optional cloud services. You can download individual apps or the entire suite.

You can create graphics and illustrations for your projects with the Adobe Creative Cloud tools. Play with layouts, page designs, and more for publishing. Create and share online videos anywhere.

How to access

To access the Adobe Creative Cloud apps, go to creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/download/creative-cloud. You can select all the apps or individual apps you want to download. You will be asked to sign in with your eID@k-state.edu account during the download. You must use your eID@k-state.edu. Your eID@ksu.edu will not work. If you need assistance downloading the Adobe Creative Cloud apps, view the Downloading Adobe Creative Cloud Suite knowledge base article.

Requesting a license

Adobe Creative Cloud licenses are available for the following:

  • Managers may request a license for their student employees if the Adobe Creative Clouds apps are required for their job functions.
  • Device Licenses are encouraged for computers that multiple people share.

To request a license, complete the Adobe order form. Once you have submitted the form, processing the request may take two or three business days. You will receive an “Access Granted” email from Adobe once your request has been processed.

Emeritus and retired employees are not eligible for a license.

Adobe training

Adobe offers free tutorials for all the Creative Cloud apps online at Creative Cloud Tutorials. Additional training is available within each app. Search for “training” or “tutorial” within the app’s Help Section to locate the training.
