Use Adobe Creative Cloud to create a multimedia experience

All active K-State faculty and staff are eligible for a free Adobe Creative Cloud license, which includes Acrobat Pro DC. The Adobe Creative Cloud includes over 20 applications and services, including software for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, mobile applications, and some optional cloud services.

You can use Adobe Creative Cloud tools to create graphics and illustrations, layouts and design pages. You can publish and share online videos.

How to access

Go to creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/download/creative-cloud to access the Adobe Creative Cloud apps. You have the option to download individual apps or the entire suite. If you currently have Adobe Reader installed, make sure to uninstall it before downloading Adobe Acrobat Pro.

You will be asked to sign in with your eID during the download. You must use your eID@k-state.edu; your eID@ksu.edu will not work. If you need assistance, view Downloading Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.

Requesting a license

Student employees and device licenses are eligible for Adobe Creative Cloud licenses. Managers must request a license for student employees who require Adobe Creative Cloud for their job duties. Device licenses are available for computers shared by multiple users who need access to Adobe Creative Cloud.

To request a license, complete the Adobe order form. Once you submit the form, processing the request may take two or three business days. After your request has been processed, you will receive an “Access Granted” email from Adobe.

Please note that emeritus and retired employees are not eligible for a license.

Adobe training

Adobe offers free tutorials for all the Creative Cloud apps online at Creative Cloud Tutorials. Additional training is available within each app. Search for “training” or “tutorial” within the app’s Help Section to locate the training.
