Apple iPad devices can now be checked in for warranty replacement as well as out-of-warranty replacement services at the IT Help Desk in 214 Hale Library. This program is open for both personally owned and university-owned devices.
For iPads under warranty, hardware replacement options are limited to an exchange program in which a new or refurbished iPad is provided by Apple to replace a user’s malfunctioning iPad.
For out of warranty and issues (physical damage, etc…) that are not covered under an Apple warranty, a replacement fee will be assessed by Apple depending on the issue.
If Apple Care+ was purchased with the iPad, other services may be covered for a fee that is assessed by Apple. For details, see the terms and conditions provided at the time of purchase.
This service is currently limited to only Apple iPad models; it does not cover iPods or iPhones. For questions about this service, please email clientservices@k-state.edu.
