In collaboration with the College of Education Associate Dean’s Office, Kakali Bhattacharya is offering a three-part professional development series for those who are interested in qualitative research. Faculty and students are welcome.
All three professional development workshop meetings are scheduled on consecutive Fridays beginning Feb. 28. Each session will be 9:30 a.m.-noon in 21 Bluemont Hall.
- Feb. 28 (Friday) – Qualitative Research Design, Challenges, Resources
- March 7 (Friday) – Data Analysis in Qualitative Research, Using Text Visual, Video, Internet, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube Data, Orientation to NVivo
- March 14 (Friday) – Data Representation, Format, Challenges, Resource, Places to Publish Qualitative Research
A light breakfast will be provided at each session. Syllabuses, handouts, worksheets, resources, a bibliography, and an orientation to NVivo will be provided to attendees.
