Colleague 2 Colleague has put out a call for “transformational superheroes” working in Summer Institute on Distance Learning and Instructional Technology (or SIDLIT, pronounced “sidelight”) conference. The conference will be held Thursday and Friday, Aug. 4-5 at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Agents of Change—Transformational Superheroes.” The keynote speaker is Richard Byrne (of FreeTech4Teachers.com).
Submit a presentation proposal by April 30.
The conference cost for the two days, including some meals and snacks, is $50. Registration is required and there is a $10 discount for early registration (by May 31). Students may register for even steeper discounts, with a $20 discount for early bird registration (and a $40 rate thereafter). Registration closes on July 22, and there will be no walk-ins or registration after that date.
